Who We Are

Business advertising services in New England

When it comes to business advertising services, there are many companies to choose from. It can be confusing when you’re trying to pinpoint the right one for you. But take it from us, not all graphic designers are created equal!

• We’re small
We believe that our clients benefit from our small, tightly-knit staff, because we pool our talents and work closely together to find the best solution to your product needs. We often work as a team to complete even the smallest projects and deliver the best results. When it’s your graphic design or business advertising project we’re working on, you become a part of that team.

• We’re personally invested
Running a business in rural Vermont certainly has its ups and downs, but living and working in a small town is the way to go, as far as we’re concerned. We love getting to know our clients and becoming personally invested in their success. That also means that our door is always open, one of us will answer the phone when you call, and we’ll know who you are. Great Big Graphics isn’t one of those companies that you call and then never hear back from. If we’re capable of handling your job, then we’ll handle it in a timely and professional manner. If we aren’t, then we’ll let you know that, and usually even refer you to a supplier that can.

• We’re affordable
We know what it’s like to be a small business. Not only are we a small business ourselves, but we’ve also worked with thousands of others; so we understand how important it is to work within a set budget. Our pricing is fair and competitive for the graphic design services and business advertising products we turn out, and we ensure our clients’ satisfaction.

• We’re creative
At Great Big Graphics, we’re able to apply our passion to our work, so we think that we’re pretty lucky. Whenever we can, we incorporate special touches like hand illustration and custom carving to make your project stand apart from the competition. Even if your budget doesn’t call for the high-end custom flourishes, we can still usually find ways to set your finished piece apart from all the rest.

For us, this business is “hands-on.” We’re personally connected with your business advertising project throughout every stage of its development — from design to production — and we enjoy the meaningful relationships that are formed with our customers.

Meet The Team

Nichole Loati, "Queen Bee"

Nichole took over the company in 2012. She's a real-life entrepreneur with real-life business experience. GBG has been a great fit, enabling her to exercise her creative muscles while simultaneously allowing her to do what she most enjoys: running the show, barking orders and gabbing with local folk. Nichole graduated from CCV because, you know, we're all about the local here. She is a married mother of 6 and resides in Morristown with her hubby, the kids, the cat, and a bunch of chickens.

Kurt Loati, "The Sign Guy"  AKA: "Hubby"
Formerly of Morrisville Lumber fame, Kurt joined the GBG family in late 2016. Now dubbed "The Sign Guy," Kurt injects his extensive knowledge of wood and woodworking practices to greatly expand upon GBG's qualifications in the world of architectural signage. Kurt's secondary job functions are to tell his wife to chill, and to shmooze with local contractors. He graduated VTC with a concentration in construction theory. He drives a Chevy, because that's what men drive, and he lives in Morristown with the boss lady.

Ray Kania, "Renaissance Man"

Ray's official job role is to design, but he's pretty talented at everything else too. Ray studied fine art at Johnson State College, and is mainly self taught in graphic design. Over the years, Ray has expanded his skills to include website design, vehicle wrapping, sales, digging holes ... whatever comes up, he pretty much excels at it. Ray resides in Johnson with his cat, Kingsley, and originally hails from South Hero, VT.

Aryk Tomlinson, "The Kid"

A local boy, through and through, Aryk is quite well known and adored throughout the community. Aryk first started out with GBG as an unpaid and under-appreciated graphic design intern, but was soon invited back as a part time, and eventually full time ‘catch-all’ employee. In a given day you may find Aryk designing logos and business cards, printing vinyl graphics, or riding shotgun alongside Kurt as assistant sign installer. Aryk lives in Morrisville with his rescue pup Brixton and slings pizzas part time at Pizza on Main.
